Here are some of my favorite questions to jump-start your discussion about CHYMIST.

- Which character do you find the bravest? The most selfless? The most selfish? 
- In the story, people flock to Nautilus by the hundreds. Why do you think that is? What is it about Nautilus that people would find attractive? 
- What advice would you have given Natalie to help with her grief? 
- Do you think Natalie should have turned to her friends sooner for help? Why didn’t she? Who do you turn to for help when you need it? 
- In Chymist, Natalie and her friends discuss whether or not they are still the “good guys.” What do you think? 
- What is the significance behind the name “Moirai?” How does that fit in with the overall themes of The Coelacanth Project? 
- At one point in the story, Natalie realizes “their parents were no better equipped than she was.” What does this mean for Natalie? What does this mean to you?
